Reddit is roasting GMK keycaps for terrible QC. From misprints to gaslighting support, maybe it's time to stop simping for premium plastic.

We all know the legendary "German quality" of GMK keycaps, right? You'd think paying top dollar gets you premium, flawless plastic to type your spaghetti code on, but reality hits differently. Turns out, it might just be the most expensive copium in the mechanical keyboard community!
So here's the tea: An OP on Reddit showed off their new MTNU keycap collections: Rascals, MoDo, and MoDo Light. From afar? Absolutely gorgeous.
Once the post went live, the comment section turned into an absolute battlefield:
Look guys, as developers, we need to apply our logic to hardware too. Brand loyalty is a scam. Just because something has a premium price tag doesn't mean it's immune to bugs... I mean, hardware defects.
Honestly, instead of burning hundreds on overhyped plastic that scratches easily, you might as well throw that money into crypto or Wadiz to fund some indie projects. The lesson here? Stop simping for brands. If a $25 clone from AliExpress does the job, looks great, and doesn't gaslight you about a deep scratch being "dust," just buy the clone. We have enough stress fixing production bugs; we don't need bugged keycaps too!
